In 2018, Brice Environmental Services completed the complex removal of over 3,000 tons of WW2 legacy solid waste to reduce environmental impact on Wake Island, a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. We are excited to share that this critical Air Force environmental project is featured in the Jan-Feb 2019 issue of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) magazine, The Military Engineer (TME), and is also available as a TME online feature.
We invite you to read about the work carried out by our Wake Island field crew who spent three field seasons collecting, sorting, hauling and ultimately removing the WW2 legacy solid waste from this venerated historic WW2 battlefield and Pacific Remote Island Marine National Monument.
