On August 26, 2019, Brice welcomed Kirk Fisher as Director of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). Kirk comes to Brice with 15 years of experience in HSE including management of onsite field HSE programs, risk analysis and evaluation, claims loss prevention and management, incident investigation and root cause analysis, hazard recognition/mitigation, and development and administration of organizational health and safety policies, procedures, and programs. His industry experience includes most recently oil and gas, environmental, telecommunications, mining, public health, and government contracting.
“This is a key hire for us at Brice”, said Craig Jones, President of Brice Environmental. We’ve had a great safety record to-date, with our EMR well below the industry average of “1”. But given our explosive growth in the last 18 months, hiring Kirk is critical to ensuring our safety program will evolve appropriately with our growth and be the best it can be.”
Since joining Brice, Kirk has been making the rounds, attending management meetings, and having one-on-one discussions with various project and safety staff. “I’ve been getting familiar with the HSE program that’s currently in place. I’m really looking forward to working with everyone to enhance and celebrate the Brice culture of safety.”
